Field Hockey Spring Clinic for 7th & 8th Graders starts MARCH 1st!
The PLHS Field Hockey Boosters announce this introductory clinic for middle-school
players who want to try-out for PLHS field hockey in the Fall. For any girl who enjoys
field sports – this may be a great fall team for girls choosing a fall team in freshman year!
Spotlight on 8th Grade Science
All California 8th graders focus on Physical Sciences. The standards include Motion, Forces,Structure of Matter, Earth in the Solar System, Reactions, Chemistry of LivingSystems, the Periodic Table and Density and Buoyancy.
Correia Middle School Presents: “The Hunger Games” Movie Experience
Over the past few years Correia Middle School students have been eagerly reading Suzanne Collin’s masterpiece The Hunger Games. This year, students are anticipating that the movie will make that novel come to life on the big screen! Correia’s English Department is hosting a “Hunger Games Event” on Saturday, March 24th, 2012.
Hungry Dog Dash 5k
Whether you are a serious distance runner or a casual weekend warrior, come join us in the Hungry Dog Dash on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. for the second annual Point Loma High School Cross Country Team 5K Run. The course will be fast and beautiful as you run along one of San Diego's most spectacular waterways, in Liberty Station, Point Loma.
